Create a Software Proposal
- View the project board for all Innovation Lab-scoped proposals to understand the proposal template and what other orgs have proposed: https://github.com/orgs/etenlab/projects/2
- Example: crowd.Bible project: https://github.com/etenlab/ilab-project-proposals/issues/1
- Create a proposal by creating an ‘issue’ in the Innovation Lab’s Proposal GitHub repository using the ‘iLab Proposal Template’: https://github.com/etenlab/ilab-project-proposals/issues/new/choose and filling in the template with your project’s information.
Do not include financial information in your GitHub issue.
You will need a GitHub account.
Contact [email protected] if you have any issues with this.
- Create tags for your proposal by working with iLab drivers and creating GitHub Issue Labels. Reach out to Michael when you are ready to discuss this.
- Search the project board for other proposals that have been tagged with the labels you have used for your project and consider reaching out to the proposal point-of-contact to discuss overlap and deduplication of components. This will be a phase that ETEN Innovation Lab staff perform. You can get ahead of that conversation if you so choose.
